This is an article, from the Associated Press, I came across that left me in disbelief. There isn't too much wrong with the article other than a lack of information, but I thought I'd share it with everyone because it is just too unreal.
A bus driver and another man left a public bus to help two eldery women passengers cross a busy street, the bus driver pushed the three out of the path of an oncoming pickup truck and was consequently stuck and suffered serious injuries, including bleeding in the brain and broken bones.
When the Colorado State Patrol arrived on the scene, the officer actually wrote the unconscious samaritan a ticket for jaywalking!
I could not believe this man was punished by police for risking his life to save three others.
I would have liked the article to include more information and sources such as the police chief or spokesman for their input on this case. An interview with one of the three people saved would have contributed to the story as well.
As a side note, the fifth graph is a bit shaky and confusing. Why exactly did these two women get off the bus "in the interest of safety," when this bus stop on the busy Denver street (during a snowstorm nonetheless) was clearly anything but safe. Or did the author mean that the bus driver left the bus in the interest of safety? This sentence should be revised.
I'll be looking to see if there's any update on this story for a response from the Denver Police Dept. and to see if this ridiculous ticket actually holds up.

Good analysis in the second to last graf. How might you revise the sentence to avoid confusion?
